Advanced Sail Trim Masterclass
A focused program for sailors who already race multihulls and want to close the gap between good and great — the specific trim habits that separate solid club racers from championship-level crews.
What It Is
The Advanced Sail Trim Masterclass isn't an introduction to multihull sailing — it's a deep, coached focus on the details that move the needle once the fundamentals are already solid: reading pressure before it hits, tuning and marking settings before a start, and building the kind of trim habits that hold up under race pressure instead of falling apart the moment things get tactical.
Who It's For
This program assumes multihull racing experience already. It's built for sailors who can comfortably handle the boat and want to sharpen specific technique, not sailors looking for a first introduction — if that's what you need, the 4-Day Intensive is the better starting point.
What You'll Work On
The focus is the technical side of multihull trim: mainsail twist profiles, jib lead angles to manage the slot, rig tuning, mast rotation, and sailing to target speed and angle. Around that, you'll build the habits that make those settings stick under race pressure: adjusting before the puff arrives instead of after, two-boat tuning with lines marked so fast settings can be found again instantly, and real-time feedback from a coach who can see what you can't feel from the boat.
Format
Three days of focused coaching, shorter and more concentrated than the 4-Day Intensive. See the Training page for upcoming dates.
If You're Not Sure This Is Right
If you're new to multihull sailing, start with the 4-Day Intensive instead — this program assumes you can already handle the boat. If you're comfortable on the water but have a specific regatta bearing down on you, Training Clinic & Race Prep is more targeted to that timeline.
Ready to Sharpen Your Trim?
These habits aren't things you pick up by reading about them — they're built through repetition with real-time feedback, which is exactly what this program is structured around.
